UPDATE: Portion of South Main closed following accident

***UPDATE - One lane along northbound South Main/US 1A has reopened.
Northbound South Main Street/US 1A is closed in the vicinity of Ligon Mill Road following a three-car collision.
Wake Forest Police are directing traffic around the area. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
