Construction Inspection

The Town of Wake Forest is committed to ensuring our infrastructure is built to service Wake Forest residents and visitors safely. As an integral arm of the Engineering Department, the Town's Engineering Construction Inspector (ECI) team conducts routine inspections to ensure the highest standards in construction quality and reliability.  

The team meticulously oversee inspections for Town Capital Improvement Projects (CIP) and private land developments. Our Engineering Inspections Group supervises street, water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure, both from the development community and city contracts/NCDOT projects. Beyond infrastructure, they play an important role in final inspections for home and commercial construction projects, ensuring they meet approved plans and standards for a certificate of occupancy.
