Operation Safe Sale
In an effort to protect Wake Forest residents from becoming victims of crime when selling or purchasing items advertised online, the Wake Forest Police Department has introduced Operation Safe Sale to provide a safe zone for transactions called "Operation Safe Sale."
Any Wake Forest resident who is interested in joining or forming a Neighborhood Watch group is urged to Contact Officer Scott Graham. Our mission is to build upon the original concepts of Neighborhood Watch, utilizing all available resources to create a proactive community-police partnership for crime prevention and problem-solving in each neighborhood.
Child Safety Seat Installation
All child safety seat installations have been suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your understanding.
Keeping children safe is an important priority for the Wake Forest Police Department. That's why the department is taking aggressive action to reduce the incidence of car seat and safety belt misuse by establishing a free Child Safety Seat Installation and education program in Wake Forest.

The Wake Forest Police Department now offers live scan Fingerprinting Service as a courtesy to the general public each Thursday from 2-4 pm (No appointment necessary). The cost is $10 for Wake Forest residents and $15 for non-residents. Payment accepted in cash only. Service is limited to first twelve customers.
