Fingerprinting Service suspended due to COVID
All fingerprint services have been suspended until further notice due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you for your understanding.
In the meantime, area residents may wish to check two other local fingerprinting service options, including the Raleigh/Wake City-County Bureau of Identification (CCBI) and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Raleigh/Wake CCBI, 3301 Hammond Road, Raleigh, offers fingerprinting service daily from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. The fee is $15. Walk-ins are accepted, but priority is given to previously-scheduled appointments. For more information or to make an appointment, call 919-856-6300.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, 285 T Kemp Road, Louisburg, offers fingerprinting services to the public during normal business hours. The cost is $10, and the telephone number is 919-496-2186.
The Wake Forest Police Department offers live scan fingerprinting to the general public each Thursday from 2-4 p.m (no appointment necessary).
The live scan fingerprinting, also known as electronic fingerprinting, is performed at the Wake Forest Police Department, 225 S. Taylor St., which is located behind the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St.
The cost is $10 for Wake Forest residents and $15 for non-residents. Cash only accepted. Payment must be made at the Police Department before fingerprinting service can be rendered. A valid picture ID is required for identification.
