2026 Concerts in the Park
Sundays, Sept. 6 & 13 | 5:30-7:30 pm
Bring your family and friends, a picnic and a blanket and settle in for some foot-tapping, finger-snapping good times!
The Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department will present free concerts at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Sunday, Sept. 6, and Sunday, Sept. 13. Both performances will get underway at 5:30 p.m. in the Joyner Park Amphitheater - situated adjacent to the shade provided by the majestic pecan grove.
Food and refreshments will be available for purchase or bring your own picnic.
2026 Concert Schedule
September 6 - ACE Party Band
ACE Party Band is a diverse group of talented musicians whose versatile style is guaranteed to keep all guests entertained. Led by powerhouse vocalist AftanCi, the band covers over 50 years of music, including Top 40, Motown, Beach, Rock, and Country.
September 13 - The Band Next Door
The Band Next Door is an award-winning 6-piece rock and pop cover band based in Raleigh, NC, established in 2017. Known for energetic live performances, they play a mix of danceable hits and rock staples across the Triangle area. They won the 2025 WRAL Voters Choice Award for Best Local Band.
Food
Food and dessert trucks will be on hand.

In the event of inclement weather, the concerts may be canceled or moved inside the Joyner Park Community Center.

Please park in Joyner Park's designated parking lot
Alcoholic beverages, smoking, firearms, and unleashed pets are prohibited at Joyner Park.
