Advisory Boards

The town's advisory boards were established to give citizens input into what happens in the community and to advise the Board of Commissioners on matters that affect citizens and their town government. At various times throughout the year, the town will seek applicants.


Volunteer 

The Town of Wake Forest offers a variety of volunteer opportunities for individuals, families, businesses, civic and community groups, including Adopt-A-Stream and Adopt-A-Trail.


Northern Wake Senior Center

The Northern Wake Senior Center is the place for area seniors to meet and have fun. Located at 235 E. Holding Ave., the facility offers senior adults age 55 and older a myriad of recreational activities promoting fitness and wellness, lifelong learning, and teamwork in a friendly setting.


Civic Clubs

Wake Forest offers a variety of civic clubs and community organizations.


Community Council

The Wake Forest Community Council is comprised of area civic, service, social, fraternal, religious and business organizations, as well as interested individuals, dedicated to improving life in our community.

 

Citizens Academy

The Wake Forest Citizen’s Academy is a seven-week course designed to offer participants an educational and interactive experience on the workings of Town government.
