Wireless Research Center of NC

The Town of Wake Forest has partnered with the Wireless Research Center of North Carolina (WRCNC) to produce a three-minute video that highlights the center's mission and primary areas of focus.

Located in Wake Forest at 3331 Heritage Trade Dr., Suite 101, the WRCNC is poised to become a global center of wireless excellence. Financed by the Town of Wake Forest and a grant from the Golden LEAF Foundation, the center supports its mission of economic development by providing three categories of assistance - regulatory, research and development, and testing.

A non-profit, 501 (c) (3), organization, the WRCNC provides access to engineering and scientific expertise that supports product development from concept through production. Complementing its engineering services, the center also offers access to state-of-the-art wireless test facilities. These shared facilities are available to organizations and universities to support product development, technology research, and standardization efforts within the telecommunications, government, and medical sectors. As a state-of-the-art testing facility, the center also serves as an incubator for emerging companies and technologies.
