Join us along Festival Street (Owen Avenue) and Brooks Street (including Centennial Plaza and Town Hall Parking Lot) in downtown Wake Forest on Saturday, April 15, for the 2nd Annual Forest Fest! This family friendly event focuses on celebrating the heart and history of Wake Forest.
Presented by Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. in partnership with the Town of Wake Forest, ARTS Wake Forest, Wake Forest Guild of Artists, Kerr Family YMCA, Wake Forest Historical Museum, and the Wake Forest Farmers Market, this fun filled day will feature:
Musical entertainment in Centennial Plaza
- Children's activities provided by the Kerr Family YMCA.
Wake Forest Guild of Artists Spring Artisan Market at Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.
Tree Seedling Giveaway in the Town Hall parking lot, 301 S. Brooks St.
Paper Shredding Event from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Northern Wake Senior Center parking lot, 235 E. Holding Ave.
Wake Forest Farmers Market extended hours 8am - 2pm
Food options from Wake the Truck Up, Smith's Smokehouse and Smoothies, and Lumpy's Ice Cream.
Vendors include: Camp Gladiator, Cartoon Jordan, Rooted Plant Supply, Double B Farm, Shiplap + Sage, Wake Forest Cornhole, Watson Family Literacy, Piper Grace Creations and Free Spirited Artistry
- Non-Profits/Educational Booths include representation from: Aurora Fossil Museum, Firebox Theatre, Neuse River Hawks (Wake Forest Chapter of NC Wildlife Federation), NC Compost Council, Northeast Community Coalition, Town of Wake Forest, Tri-Area Ministry, Wake Forest Fire Department, Wake Forest Garden Club, Wake Forest Lion's Club, Wake Forest Woman's Club.
