Utility Payment Drop Box
The Town of Wake Forest offers a utility payment drop box in Town Hall's Brooks Street visitor parking lot.
Designed to provide easy payment access, the drop box offers a convenient payment option for residents wishing to pay their Wake Forest Power bill and/or Raleigh Water bill. Payments deposited in the drop box after 8 a.m. Monday through Friday will be processed the next business day. The Town will mail receipts upon request.
Please note: The Town of Wake Forest does not accept Wake County property tax payments. Residents are encouraged to make those disbursements at the Northern Regional Center, 350 E. Holding Ave.
Flag Retirement Drop Box
The Town of Wake Forest makes it easy for community members to properly dispose of their tattered or worn American flags thanks to the efforts of a local Boy Scout.
In early 2025, Andrew Horner, 14, and the scouts of Troop 500 constructed a flag retirement drop box as part of Horner’s Eagle Scout Service Project. Made of wooden and aluminum panels, the red, white, and blue colored drop box is in the visitor parking lot of Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St., next to the utility payment drop box.
Community members can drop off their flags 24-hours-a-day, seven days-a-week. Once the box is full, scouts from Troop 500 will collect the flags, burn them as part of a retirement ceremony, and bury the ashes.
Distinctive Features
The new town hall is marked by several distinctive features and unique elements both inside and out, including a one-stop customer information desk, the town seal and town history timeline incorporated in the polished lobby floor, a magnificent rotunda and board chambers, and Centennial Plaza - just to name a few.
