Spirits of Wake Forest

Spirits of Wake Forest

**NEW TOUR ADDED - Please see below for further information.**

If you’re looking for a “hauntingly” good time this fall, then don’t miss the “Spirits of Wake Forest” ghost walk in historic downtown Wake Forest. These tours are presented by Wake Forest Downtown (WFD), Inc., in partnership with Forest Moon Theater.

Downtown Wake Forest’s buildings and sidewalks have seen well over 100 years of history, and they have some eerie stories to tell! Join WFD, Inc. and Forest Moon Theater's incredible cast of storytellers to learn about the restless spirits that make up just a small piece of downtown’s haunted history.

DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, NEW TOURS HAVE BEEN ADDED. Additional tours will be taking place November 3-November 5. They will be offered at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, there will be a third time of 7:00 p.m.

Purchase tickets here.

Tours will take place in Historic Downtown Wake Forest’s business district, primarily along South White Street. We will meet outside Wake Forest Town Hall (301 South Brooks Street) and tours will begin promptly at their scheduled time. Please note that tours are within the business district only and will not include the private residences located along North and South Main Streets.

Know Before You Go

This year’s tour will feature a number of last year’s favorite stories, along with plenty of new material.

Each tour will last approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.

Tours will take place rain or shine.  If severe weather poses a risk to public safety during your scheduled tour it will be cancelled, and all ticketholders will receive refunds.

The maximum number of participants for each tour is 20.

Tours are within the business district only and will not include private residences.

The health & safety of our guests is of the utmost importance to us. With that in mind we will follow any national, state or local mandates that are in place regarding COVID-19 at the time of each tour.
