Traffic Alert – Wait Avenue

Wynn Site Development, a contractor working at the future site of the Wait Avenue Condos, 425 E. Wait Ave., will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic a portion of the 400 block of Wait Avenue (between Franklin Street and Taylor Street) Wednesday-Friday, May 3-5, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. each day.

The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to backfill curb and sidewalk and apply striping along the roadway.

Flaggers, signage, and cones will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. For the safety of work crews, drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route.
