Traffic/Pedestrian Signals Project

Overview

This project includes the installation of traffic signals at intersections that have met signal warrants or the assessment of intersections where traffic or pedestrian signal may be warranted.  The following intersections are priorities on this project due to increased development, and/or safety concerns for motorists and pedestrians.  This is a multi-year project and the list is expected to be ongoing.

Construction of the traffic signal at Wait Avenue and Middlegame way is expected to begin by the end of January.  The signal is expected to be operational by April assuming no unanticipated delays.  

Design of the traffic signal is underway for the traffic signal at Forestville Rd and Coach Lantern Ave.  Construction is expected to begin in August with an anticipated completion in February of 2025.  

Keep in mind weather, design challenges, and other unanticipated challenges may affect these dates.  Please check back for updates to schedule.
