Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources is offering the 2026 SPIRIT of Inclusion Expo on Saturday, March 21, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road.
Free and open to everyone, the Spirit of Inclusion Expo is a one-day event dedicated towards connecting individuals with disabilities and their families with valuable resources and services. Our expo aims to provide information, support, and opportunities to enhance the quality of life for attendees.
This event will feature a diverse range of vendors, organizations, and experts dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities.

- We help families who have a loved one with special needs clarify their vision for their child's life and help them identify and align the appropriate services and tools to make it a reality.
- A Voice For All
- A Voice For All Foundationis dedicated to creating inclusive communication access for individuals with speech and language differences. The foundation designs and implements communication boards, AAC tools, and visual supports across schools, parks, healthcare facilities, and public spaces, ensuring that every individual, regardless of ability, has a voice in their community.

- We provide transition planning services to individuals with disabilities.
- Attainment Company
- Attainment is a small family owned business that produces and sells products for people with disabilities of all ages. Our products include academic curricula, transition and life skills products, as well as low and mid-tech assistive technology devices.
- Autistic Voice Artists
- Autistic Voice Artists is a nonprofit that does online training programs that teach voiceover skills to autistic adults
- City of Raleigh SRIS
- Raleigh Parks and the Specialized Recreation and Inclusion Services (SRIS) program area offers a variety of recreation programs for individuals with developmental and/or physical disabilities. Inclusion Services supports access to typical programs for participants with disabilities by offering reasonable and appropriate accommodations.
- EJ Kicks
- We are an adaptive shoe brand EJ Kicks created by a Jennetta Spears, local mobile pediatric physical therapist. Our shoes are made to fit over various orthotics such as AFOs, SMOs, and KAFOs. Our kicks are extra wide and have extra depth. We are a new shoe brand located in Clayton, NC. We have an online store. We also have seamless orthotic socks for children. These socks are compression socks and comes in 5 colors.
- Exceptional Children's Assistance Center
- ECAC is a private non profit organization that is committed to improving the lives of families who have children and youth with disabilities ages birth to 26. We support families and the professionals who serve them by providing individual assistance, training and education, developing written materials and resources, and advocating for children and youth with disabilities on local, state and national levels, on a wide variety of topics relate to caring for an serving children with disabilities.
- Gigi's Playhouse
- GiGi's is a Down syndrome Achievement Center. We provide FREE programs for individuals with Down syndrome from birth to adult. Programs include 1 on 1 literacy, math, and speech tutoring, Fitness, Cooking, Job Readiness and many more! We also provide parent support groups.
- Inner Circle Autism Network
- Inner Circle Autism Network [iCAN] is a collaborative center specializing in school readiness for children ages 2 to 10 diagnosed with autism.
- Journey League
- We provide an experience for young adults and adults to make friends, have play dates, and socialize through the game of basektball.
- Made4Me
- Our mission is to improve the lives of individuals with special needs and those who care for them. We do this by designing and building customized adaptations at no cost to the family.
- Miracle League of Franklin County
- Providing opportunities for children with disabilities to play Miracle League baseball in adapted facilities that meet the unique needs of Miracle League players, their families and friends.
- National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) Wake County
- NAMI Wake County is the local affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

- We provide adapted sports, cycling, wheelchair b-ball, and kayaking to people living with a physical disability.

- NCSCIA provides support and resource information for the spinal cord injured community and their families in North Carolina.

- Smiling While Sending Hope creates care packages for individuals with chronic illness and special needs from birth to 26. Our goal with this non-profit is to bring smiles to people’s faces and to help spread awareness of many illnesses and special needs. To not focus on the illness but to shine light and show others who do not have them not to judge others who may have one.
