Renaissance Centre to host Open House for Classes Tuesday

The Wake Forest Renaissance Centre for the Arts will host an “Open House for Classes” on Tuesday, Aug. 13, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the Renaissance Centre Arts Annex, 407 S. Brooks St.

The occasion will showcase the array of classes and programs scheduled to be offered at the Renaissance Centre over the next several months, including KRUMP Movement, Creative Drama, Script Works, LEGO Engineering Explorers, LEGO Stop Motion Animation Camp, LEGO Video Game Design, Basic Drawing, Beginner and Intermediate Stained Glass, and Art of Storytelling – among many others.

Representatives from StopGap for Heroes will also be on hand to highlight the new Arts Mission for Heroes classes designed specifically for veterans.

Area residents are invited to drop in any time between 5:30-6:30 p.m. to meet Renaissance Centre staff and class instructors who will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on cultural arts programming for children and adults.
