Mayor Jones wins sixth term, Shackleford & Sliwinski elected to BOC

Wake Forest Mayor Vivian Jones won a sixth term on Tuesday defeating Commissioner Bridget Wall-Lennon. Mayor Jones won 54.36 percent (3,354 votes) of the votes compared to Wall-Lennon's 44.98 percent (2,775 votes).

 

Also on Tuesday, R. Keith Shackleford and Nick Sliwinski were elected to the Board of Commissioners by garnering 25.55 percent (2,928 votes) and 24.87 percent (2,850 votes) of the votes respectively.
