CORPUD crews responding to water leak along South Brooks Street
Crews from the City of Raleigh Public Utilities Department (CORPUD) are responding to a ruptured water main at the intersection of South Brooks Street and East Owen Avenue.
For the safety of work crews, a portion of South Brooks Street near the East Owen Avenue intersection is reduced to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic.
Signage and flaggers are in place directing motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists are urged to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
CORPUD officials say approximately 10 businesses in the area may experience low to no water pressure until the repairs are completed.
Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
