Apply now to serve on Greenways Advisory Board

You can make a difference in our community by applying to fill the vacancy on the Greenways Advisory Board.

The online application is available on the Town’s website at  Anyone without access to a computer is invited to complete the application by using the computer kiosks in the lobby of Town Hall, 301 S. Brooks St. Hard copies are available upon request by contacting Executive Assistant Cathi Pope at 919-435-9467 or  

Completed applications must be received no later than 5 p.m. Friday, Jan. 31.

Applicants are encouraged to meet with the current members of the Greenways Advisory Board (GAB) at their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 8, at 7:30 a.m. at the Wake Forest Town Hall, 301 S. Brook Street. The GAB will then make its recommendation to the Board of Commissioners.

The Board of Commissioners will announce the GAB appointment during its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 21. The term for the new appointee will commence immediately.

The Town’s advisory boards were established to give citizens input into what happens in the community and to advise the Board of Commissioners on matters that affect citizens and their Town government. For more information about Wake Forest’s advisory boards, visit and search “advisory boards.”
