Traffic Alert - Wait Avenue/NC 98

The portion of Wait Avenue/NC 98 from Shenandoah Farm Road to Mackie Park Drive has been reduced to one lane with alternating two-way traffic.
The lane reduction is due to erosion under one lane caused by flooding from last night’s heavy rains.
Engineers will assess the situation today but there is no timetable on when both lanes will reopen.
