Wake Forest Sustainability 101-Composting 101
Join us for our Wake Forest Sustainability 101 education series to learn more about ways you can benefit yourself, your family and your community.
From September 27, 2023, through July 24, 2024, Wake Forest will host six one-hour classes designed to help you reduce your environmental footprint.
Free and open to the public, each class is scheduled from 6:30-7:30 p.m. and limited to the first 20 people to register.
Composting helps combat food waste and helps to benefit our soil. If you're a fan of gardening and being green, then this course is for you!
Learn the basics of composting from a Wake County Master Gardner.
Learn how to easily and properly compost in your own backyard.
Put your name in the drawing at the event for the chance to win a compost bin to take home!
Please note: Registrants may enroll in one or more classes and are not required to sign up for the entire series.
