PRCR Department to begin accepting 2022 facility rental reservations Aug. 2

The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department will accept in-person 2022 facility rental reservations from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 2 and 3. Then, beginning Wednesday, Aug. 4, the PRCR Department will offer residents the opportunity to reserve rental facilities both in person and online.

Please note the following online rental procedure: 

  1. Call the facility you wish to rent to confirm availability;

  2. Following confirmation, complete the online rental agreement at wakeforestnc.gov/parks-recreation-cultural-resources/facility-rentals;

  3. Once the agreement has been submitted, reviewed and accepted, you will receive confirmation via email or telephone, followed by an invoice for the rental deposit or full rental fee.

  4. Pay rental deposit or full fee via RecDesk. If you do not already have a RecDesk account, set up an account at https://wakeforestnc.recdesk.com/Community/Home;

Please Note: Submitting a rental request does not guarantee approval. All requests are considered “tentative” until the entire process has been completed, including payment of the rental deposit or full rental fee.

You may also call and schedule an in-person meeting to reserve the following facilities:

  • Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road, open spaces, picnic shelters and greenways
    Reservations will be accepted at the Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road. For more information, call 919-435-9560.

  • Wake Forest Community House, 133 W. Owen Ave. 
     For reservations, call 919-795-0508.

  • Alston-Massenburg Center and Taylor Street Park picnic shelter 
    Reservations will be accepted at the Alston-Massenburg Center, 416 N. Taylor St. For more information, call 919-554-6189.

  • Flaherty Park Community Center and Flaherty Park picnic shelter
    Reservations will be accepted at the Flaherty Park Community Center, 1226 N. White St. For more information, call 919-554-6726.
