Police requesting public’s assistance

Artisha Lee Burwell turned herself in earlier today without incident. Her photo is attached.

Burwell has been charged with one felony count of obtaining property by false pretense, one felony count of financial card theft and one count of misdemeanor larceny.

Wake Forest Police have obtained arrest warrants for a Zebulon woman wanted in connection with a March 2 incident at Brookdale Senior Living involving larceny and credit card fraud.

Police obtained arrest warrants on Artisha Lee Burwell, 605 Worth Hinton Road, Zebulon. Burwell, 35, will be charged with one felony count of obtaining property by false pretense, one felony count of financial card theft and one count of misdemeanor larceny.

Police are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating Burwell whose photo is attached. Anyone with information concerning her whereabouts is encouraged to call the Wake Forest Police Department Tip Line at 919-435-9610. All calls are confidential.

Wake Forest Police are asking for the public’s help identifying and locating the individual shown in the surveillance image.

The subject is wanted for questioning in connection with a March 2 incident at Brookdale Senior Living involving larceny and credit card fraud.

Police officials say the suspect entered Brookdale and wandered the halls until locating an open door to an employee’s office. While rummaging through the desk, the individual discovered a credit card she later used at a local grocery store.

The suspect is described as a black female in her 30’s, wearing large, fake eyelashes.
