Imagine what it must have been like,
At Christmastime, in years gone by.

The Wake Forest Historic Preservation Commission and the Wake Forest Woman's Club will present their biennial Christmas Historic Home Tour on Saturday, Dec. 3, from 1-7 p.m. - rain or shine!

Offered in even-numbered years, Wake Forest's Christmas Historic Home Tour is a self-guided tour featuring several Wake Forest homes and other properties decorated for the holidays and open for viewing. This year's event will also offer wonderful holiday music and much more!

Tickets go on sale October 1.

Christmas Home Tour Proceeds 

The proceeds from the biennial Christmas Tour of Historic Homes are divided by the Wake Forest Historic Preservation Commission and the Woman's Club for the benefit of the following projects:


Wake Forest Woman's Club

The Wake Forest Woman's Club supports a variety of community service projects including but not limited to the following:

  • Arts community service projects, including crafts for children, Special Needs Prom, July 4th Art in the Park children's supplies

  • Conservation community service projects, including Dirt Day supplies, Museum of Life and Science – Earth Moves Exhibit, Franklin County SPCA – Cat and Dog Food, City of Oaks Foundation – Camp Scholarship, flowers for the Wake Forest Historical Museum

  • Education community service projects, including school supplies for Boys & Girls Club and area schools

  • Home life community service projects, including Safe Space, Touched by Hope, Tri-Area Ministry, Wake Forest Senior Center Meals on Wheels Treats, Brown Bag Ministry snacks

  • International issues community service projects, including stocking stuffers for deployed troops, Heifer International, Stop Hunger Now, and United Nations Shot at Life.

  • Public issues community service projects, including the Purple Heart Foundation in memory of Donald Kroohs, Wake Forest Senior Center, Wreaths Across America, RDU Airport USO, ChurchNet Foundation, and the Wake Forest Boys & Girls Club.
