Volunteers Needed to Place Flags on Graves of Deceased Veterans

You're invited to help local veterans’ organizations place American flags on the graves of deceased veterans.

Volunteers will assemble at the American Legion Hall, 225 E. Holding Ave., on Saturday, May 24, between 8 and 8:30 a.m.

Everyone is invited to assist with this project which encompasses over 18 area cemeteries. Groups will be established, and flags distributed to each group depending on the size of the cemetery assigned. The initiative usually takes two to three hours depending on the number of volunteers.
