Wake Forest Power is upgrading its online utility bill payment system offering customers a more robust account experience, including the ability to track usage history, view past and current bills, make payments, and more!
The new system will require autopay and online bill pay customers to create a new online account if they wish to continue automatic and online payments for their Wake Forest Power bills.
On Sunday, March 29, the current online system, including the autopay option, will be disabled. Beginning, Monday, March 30, Wake Forest Power customers can start the process of creating a new online account by visiting our new Utility Billing Portal.
Once a new online account has been created, customers can begin making online payments through the new Tyler Payments system.
Attention Autopay Customers
The autopay option will be available beginning Friday, May 1. As a result, for the month of April, customers enrolled in autopay will be required to pay via another method.
New Payment System
The new payment system is more secure and offers a variety of payment options, including:
- Debit and credit cards, including Discover and American Express
- 24-hour pay-by-phone
- AutoPay
- eCheck
In addition, Text-to-Pay and Digital Wallets, including PayPal, Venmo, Apple and Google Pay, will be offered as payment options in the coming months.
Traditional Payment Methods
Customers who prefer more traditional methods can continue to pay over the phone, in person by cash, check, or credit card – or use the drop box in the Town Hall parking lot, 301 S. Brooks St.
