Stay Informed

The Wake Forest Center for Active Aging offers several ways for members to stay informed about programs, events, and activities, including a weekly e-newsletter, "Wednesday Wink," a monthly e-newsletter, "Active Aging Advocate," and a Facebook page. Information about the WFCAA is also offered as a function on the Town of Wake Forest app.

 

Town App

To download the Town app, search for "Town of Wake Forest" on iTunes, in the iPhone app store, or in Google Play.

To access the WFCAA function on the Town app, click on the three lines along the top right corner of the home screen, then click on WF Center for Active Aging.

Facebook

The WFCAA shares all kinds of information, including photos and videos, on its Facebook page. Anyone who is interested can "Follow" the WFCAA and allow information to come directly from the WFCAA to their own Facebook profile. Followers of the WFCAA will be able to stay informed about upcoming events, learn about programs and classes, check out photos and more.

Active Aging Advocate

sign up for E-notifierOriginally introduced as the "Senior Center Dispatch" in July 2024, then renamed in June 2025, the Active Aging Advocate is a monthly e-newsletter featuring the latest news and information on important issues facing seniors and their families.

Each edition includes articles on a variety of topics of interest, while also highlighting special events, classes, resources, and services offered at the Wake Forest Center for Active Aging.

The Town of Wake Forest is pleased to offer the Active Aging Advocate via E-Notifier - the Town of Wake Forest's free email subscription service.
