Project Overview
As part of the Capital Improvement Plan, the Town of Wake Forest Board of Commissioners approved funds to continue implementing the Renaissance Plan for Downtown Wake Forest.
Downtown Improvements, Phase 3 consists of street and landscape improvements along Sections 1 – South White Street: East Holding Avenue to Elm Avenue and 2A – East Owen Avenue: South White Street to Brooks Street.
The Town completed South White Street, Phase 1: Jones Avenue to Roosevelt Avenue (NC 98 Business) in 2010 and South White Street, Phase 2: Elm Avenue to Spring Avenue in 2012.
