Get ready to celebrate the season in Downtown Wake Forest! Our charming downtown will be filled with holiday cheer, special shopping, and festive fun for the whole family. Stroll the streets, explore local shops and restaurants, and discover the magic waiting around every corner.
What’s Happening
- Small Business Stocking Search: Five holiday stockings will be hidden throughout Downtown Wake Forest! Each stocking will be filled with fun swag and Downtown Dollars to spend at local businesses. Keep an eye on the Wake Forest Downtown Facebook and Instagram pages for clues on where to find them!
- Wake Forest Holiday Artisans Market: The annual market presented by ARTS Wake Forest and the Wake Forest Guild of Artists, will be held on December 6, 2025, from 10 am to 4 pm. The outdoor market will take place in the plaza and parking lot of the Wake Forest Town Hall, located at 301 S. Brooks St. in Downtown Wake Forest, NC.
- Pictures with Santa: Please note that advance registration is required and this is not a walk-in opportunity. A huge thank you to the Wake Forest Police Department Junior Cadet Program for assisting with this event!
Holiday Crafts, Sales, and Specials
- Holiday Crafts, Cookies, and Cheer at Wake Forest Art & Frame Shop: Enjoy a festive day of kids’ ornament crafting, hot cider, cookies, and holiday shopping.
- Cookies and Cocoa at Arrow Tree Boutique: Enjoy a cozy cup of hot cocoa and a sweet cookie while you shop, and don’t forget to grab a special coupon for your next visit.
- Holiday Wine Cork Craft at Unwined on White: Celebrate the season at Unwined on White with a festive Holiday Wine Cork Craft event, where guests can enjoy a cozy atmosphere while creating their own holiday-inspired cork décor.
- Our downtown businesses are decking the halls with holiday cheer! Stay tuned for more merry surprises, festive treats, and special seasonal offerings coming your way!

Stop by and enjoy festive fun with these holiday pop-ups throughout Downtown Wake Forest:
- Kamryn's Crochet Cove - Discover beautifully handcrafted crochet gifts made with love, perfect for the holiday season. Find her inside of Wake Forest Coffee Company from 12 to 3 pm.
- Creating Sparkles Co. Face Painting – Get into the holiday spirit with festive face painting inside of the Yellow Butterfly from 12 to 3 pm.
- Polka Dot Treat Shop – They will be located outside of Sugar Magnolia Cafe serving festive holiday treats that bring a sweet touch to the season from 12 pm to 3 pm.
- Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. – Table with games, prizes, and more holiday surprises from 12 pm to 3 pm.
- Wake Forest Police Department – Meet officers at North Carolina General Stores and hear about their upcoming Polar Plunge event benefiting North Carolina Special Olympics. They will be onsite from 12 to 3 pm.
- Wake Forest Pride – Gift Wrapping Station: Gift wrapping with a $2 or $3 donation from 12 pm to 6 pm located at Jubilation Spa
