April 20-24

The Town of Wake Forest is promoting community involvement, art and creativity, while also emphasizing the importance of staying home during the current COVID-19 pandemic, by inviting families and businesses to participate in “#StayStrongWF Window Week.”

During the week of April 20, Wake Forest families and businesses are invited to decorate their front windows and doors with positive, uplifting messages related to these Stay Strong Wake Forest themes:

  • Stay positive

  • Stay safe

  • Stay responsible

  • Stay mindful

  • Stay compassionate

  • Stay home

  • #StayStrongWF

  • We’ll get through this!

Share Your Photos

Each family and business that participates is invited to share with us photos of their decorated doors and windows through our online form.

Throughout the week, we’ll post on the Town of Wake Forest Facebook page the pictures we’ve received and upload them to our online photo gallery. We also invite you to post your pictures on social media and use the hashtag #StayStrongWF.

Not So Gentle Reminders

  • Stay home (except for extremely limited circumstances)

  • Cover your mouth and nose when you cough and sneeze

  • Wash your hands frequently with soap and warm water

  • Avoid touching your face

  • Keep distance between yourself and others

  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that get touched often
