WAKE FOREST, NC – The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources (PRCR) Department will accept online and in-person Youth Basketball League registrations Tuesday, Sept. 1, through Wednesday, Sept. 30, for boys ages 5-17 and girls ages 5-13 according to the following schedule:
- September 1-7 - Wake Forest residents only
- September 8-30 - Wake Forest residents & non-Wake Forest residents
- October 1-7 - Late registration, including a $15 late fee (if league spots are still available).
Online registration will be available at https://bit.ly/WFTeamSideline, along with team placement and draft information and league rules. In-person registrations will also be accepted at the Joyner Park Community Center, 701 Harris Road.
The registration fee is $60 for residents who live within the Wake Forest corporate limits and $100 for anyone who lives outside the town’s corporate limits.
New participants will be required to provide a birth certificate. A participant’s eligibility is determined by his or her age on December 31, 2026.
Please note: Some age groups may fill before September 30. In such instances, a wait list will be created and available to those who register for an age group that is filled. While a wait list does not guarantee team placement, it provides a way to reserve a spot in our first-in/first-out registration process. Wait list registrants are the first to be contacted, in the event availability does occur.
