***UPDATE - The outage was caused when a vehicle crashed into a utility pole near the intersection of East Wait Avenue and Carroll Street.

Wake Forest Power responding to outage affecting over 1,000 customers

Wake Forest Power crews are responding to a power outage affecting over 1,000 customers.  

The affected area includes, but is not limited to, East Wait Avenue, North White Street, East Juniper Avenue, and South Franklin Street.

The cause of the outage is not known. 

Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
