WAKE FOREST, NC – Beginning Wednesday, May 27, the Wake County Public School System will close for construction and renovations the Heritage High School tennis courts,1150 Forestville Road.
The project will include removing the existing asphalt on the courts and replacing it with a new surface. The renovations will also include the installation of new fencing, fence posts, nets and suspension devices, benches, and sidewalk.
Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed in late 2026.
The site will be considered an active construction site throughout the duration of the project. Community members are urged to follow all posted signage and stay out of the area. No trespassing is allowed.
