Bring your family and friends, a picnic and a blanket and settle in for some foot-tapping, finger-snapping good times!

ARTS Wake Forest and the Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department will present free concerts at E. Carroll Joyner Park on Sunday, Sept. 7, and Sunday, Sept. 14. Both performances will get underway at 5:30 p.m. in the Joyner Park Amphitheater - situated adjacent to the shade provided by the majestic pecan grove.

Food and refreshments will be available for purchase or bring your own picnic.

Schedule 

September 7 - The Deloreans

The Deloreans are a high-energy ’80s tribute band based in Virginia, performing throughout the East Coast and beyond. Known for their vibrant costumes, dynamic stage presence, and attention to detail, The Deloreans bring an authentic and engaging throwback experience to every show.

September 14 - The Phoebes

A fast-rising force, The Phoebes Band performs the perfect mix of Rock & Blues with soulful vocals, screaming guitars, and a driving rhythm section. The band was the winner of the 2024 WRAL Voters Choice Awards: Best Local Band of the Triangle and the winner of the 2024 Bands and Clubs of the Triangle: Best Local Band of the Year.

Food

Food and dessert trucks scheduled for September 7 include Jollys Snack Box, Flat Drum, JAM Ice Cream, Cartel Tacos, and Thombachi. 

Food and dessert trucks scheduled for September 14 include Jolly's Catering, Smash Masters, Not Just a Fry Guy, Kona Ice, and Lumpy’s Ice Cream.

In case of inclement weather, updated concert information will be available on this page, the Town's Facebook page, and Nextdoor site. 

Smart phone users who have downloaded the Town of Wake Forest app will receive a push notification message informing them of any schedule changes.

In the event of inclement weather, the concerts may be canceled or moved inside the Joyner Park Community Center.
