Ways to Track Your Bus

You can use a few apps and online resources to see your bus in real time.

For local live bus tracking and trip planning use the Transit App or UMO APP (available on Google Play and the App Store).

You can also use GoTriangle's Regional Bus Map for live tracking. Google Maps is also a useful source for trip planning and tracking your bus.

Wake Forest-Raleigh Express (WRX) 

The Wake Forest-Raleigh Express is an hourly all-day express bus service with stops at Downtown Wake Forest, Triangle Town Center, and Downtown Raleigh. Commuter parking is available in Downtown Wake Forest. Commuters can buy WRX ride fares and passes on the Umo Mobility app, GoTriangle website, or in-person at the Regional Transit Center.

Holiday Schedule

The Wake Forest-Raleigh Express does not operate on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

GoTriangle operates Sunday-level service on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Friday after Thanksgiving, and Christmas Eve, service ending at 7 p.m.

GoTriangle Access

GoTriangle Access is a regional curb-to-curb paratransit service (with a door-to-door option, upon request) for eligible residents of Wake, Durham and Orange counties. The service is designed for people with disabilities that prevent them from using the GoTriangle fixed-route bus service.

A trip must begin and end within three-quarters of a mile of a GoTriangle all-day fixed-route bus service. Please call 919-485-7468 for specific qualifying route information or visit https://gotriangle.org/access.

 

GoRaleigh Access 

Complimentary ADA/Paratransit service provided by the Town of Wake Forest will be suspended on October 1, 2024, along with the Wake Forest Loop (WFL A&B) fixed route bus service. The Go Wake Forest microtransit service will come equipped with at least one ADA accessible vehicle at all times, which will take riders anywhere in the Go Wake Forest service area. 

Eligible ADA riders for paratransit service can still get to Raleigh in one of two ways:

  1. Schedule a GoRaleigh Access ride to Raleigh by calling 919-996-3459 no less than 24 hours prior to your trip. The portion of travel between your trip origin in Wake Forest and the GoRaleigh Access service boundary will be operated by a local taxi company partner (standard taxi rates may apply). Once the taxi service reaches the GoRaleigh Access service boundary, your trip will transition to an ADA trip within the GoRaleigh Access Zone.

    Alternatively, in lieu of a taxi, riders can book a Go Wake Forest ride to the Sheetz gas station by Capital Blvd (4801 Thornton Rd, Raleigh, NC 27616), where you can transition to a GoRaleigh Access vehicle. Note, 24-hour advance coordination with GoRaleigh Access is still required.
     
  2. Request a Go Wake Forest microtransit ride from your trip origin location to the Wake Forest-Raleigh Express (WRX) bus stop in Downtown Wake Forest. This ADA accessible bus service departs from the Northern Wake Senior Center (235 E Holding Ave, Wake Forest, NC) at 6:50 am and 7:50am to the Downtown Raleigh Transit Station (214 S Blount St, Raleigh, NC), and returns at 5:20 pm, 6:20 pm, and 7:20 pm. At the Downtown Raleigh Transit Station, riders can call 919-996-3459 to request a GoRaleigh Access ride to other areas of the City. Lost or Found an Item?

GoTriangle is not responsible for personal items left on its buses. However, any item found on a GoTriangle vehicle will be turned into one of the following locations:

  • Regional Transit Center: 901 Slater Road, Durham, NC 27703
  • Raleigh Union Station: 525 W. Hargett Street, Raleigh, NC 27603

If you've lost an item, please leave a message with your name, phone number and a detailed description of the missing item. GoTriangle will contact you if an item matching your description is found.
