2026 Minority & Women-Owned Business Expo

The Wake Forest Human Relations Council (HRC) will host the 2026 Minority & Women-Owned Business Expo Saturday, Feb. 28, from 1-4 p.m. at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.
The event is free and open to everyone.
Vendor Applications Now Accepted
The HRC is accepting vendor applications through Monday, Dec. 1. There is no cost to participate.
Interested vendors are encouraged to note the following:
- Vendors can participate for free but space is limited to 36 vendor booths.
- Due to event space constraints, the HRC reserves the right to limit acceptance of valid applications.
- Vendors are allowed to sell goods and services. However, due to limited booth space, vendors are encouraged to conduct sales via QR code or online platform, rather than displaying physical inventory.
- The HRC will review applications for validity, relevance, and available space.
Overview
Area minority and women-owned businesses are invited to participate in the expo designed to increase recognition and opportunities for minority and women business owners in our community.
According to a 2023 report, of all US businesses, only 2% are Black-owned, just 6% are Hispanic-owned, and only 5% are women-owned.
The 2026 Minority & Women-Owned Business Expo will bring enterprising professionals together from the Wake Forest community to network and showcase their products and services.
