WAKE FOREST, NC – Beginning Friday, July 31, and continuing daily from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through early August, motorists should expect delays along Wait Avenue/NC 98 in the vicinity of Middlegame Way/Bowling Forest. Fred Smith Company, a contractor working at the future site of Wake Forest Fire Station #6, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic this portion of Wait Avenue/NC 98, so crews can install a sewer main.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
