WAKE FOREST, NC – Beginning at 10 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, and continuing through 6 a.m. on Friday, July 31, Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project, will reduce access to the Durham Road/South Wingate Street/South Avenue intersection, so crews can finish installing a water line.
A four-way flagger operation will be in place to safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route.
The contractor is starting work at 10 p.m. Thursday evening to reduce the impact on travelers and make the work safer for crews.
