WAKE FOREST, NC – Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project, will close the Durham Road/South Wingate Street/South Avenue intersection Sunday, July 12, at 7 p.m. The temporary road closure is necessary to allow crews to replace a water line. The work is expected to be completed by 5 a.m. Monday, July 13.
A signed detour will be in place directing motorists around the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route.
