The Town of Wake Forest often schedules road work in and around local neighborhoods.
These initiatives allow crews to repave roads, repair and replace damaged asphalt and sidewalk, and perform other week as needed.
Although such work doesn't typically last more than a few days, it often impacts motorists and pedestrians.
How we (try to) notify you
If your area is scheduled for planned road work, we will post announcements on the Town News portion of the Town website, on the Town of Wake Forest Facebook page, and on Nextdoor.
Beginning in August 2026, as a new initiative, we will also install temporary yard signs to notify you and allow you to scan the QR code for more information.
