WAKE FOREST, NC – L&A Pavement Marking, LLC, a contractor working on the South Franklin Street Widening Project in Holding Village, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic, the portion of South Franklin Street from Annabelle Blue Drive to Icarus Lane on Monday, June 29, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. The temporary lane closure is necessary to allow crews to modify existing turn lane markings.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work areas. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid these areas and take an alternate route.
The Town of Wake Forest appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation as work continues on the South Franklin Street Widening Project. The initiative is a key investment in Wake Forest’s transportation infrastructure, and the Town is committed to keeping the community informed as progress moves forward.
