Wake Forest Police are directing both northbound and southbound traffic around the area via Cimarron Parkway.

***UPDATE - The crash involved a vehicle striking and breaking a utility pole.
Wake Forest Power crews are on the way to the scene to repair the utility pole, but the work is not expected to be completed for several hours.
Wake Forest Police are directing traffic around the area via Cimarron Parkway.
Again, motorists are advised to avoid the area and choose an alternate route.
