The Wake Forest Area Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee hosted the 2025 Mayoral & Board of Commissioners Candidates Forum on Wednesday, Sept. 10, at the Wake Forest Renaissance Centre, 405 S. Brooks St.
The two candidates vying for mayor, Vivian Jones and Ben Clapsaddle, participated in the forum, along with the six candidates vying for two seats on the Board of Commissioners (BOC) - Thomas Dement, Haseeb Fatmi, Pam James, Keith Shackleford, Nick Sliwinski, and Jasmine Zavala. Each was given the opportunity to answer questions and share his or her views on an array of local issues.
Wake Forest residents that subscribe to Spectrum Cable TV service can now watch the forum on Wake Forest TV 10 (WFTV 10) daily through Election Day (Tuesday, Nov. 4) at 7 a.m., noon, and 7 p.m. Area residents may also view the forum in streaming video on the homepage of the Town website (wakeforestnc.gov) and at www.wakeforestnc.gov/voter-election-information. Links to the 2025 Candidates Forum are also provided on the Board of Commissioners and Public Meetings Portal web pages.
WFTV 10 is the Town of Wake Forest government access channel.
