The Wake Forest Police Department (WFPD) has charged a 23-year-old Wake Forest woman in connection with two incidents of child abuse at Wake Forest KinderCare, 1201 Friendship Chapel Road.
In August, the WFPD launched an investigation after a juvenile victim was injured while in the care of the facility. During the investigation, investigators learned of a separate incident that occurred in April 2025 in which a separate juvenile victim also suffered injuries.
On Tuesday, Sept. 2, Wake Forest Police charged Mallory Kemple with two counts of misdemeanor child abuse.
