WAKE FOREST, NC – Starting today (Wednesday, Sept. 23) and continuing weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through Monday, Sept. 28, Fred Smith Company, a contractor working at the future Johnson Hyundai, 10012 Capital Blvd, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic the portion of Burlington Mills Road near the Capital Boulevard/US 1 intersection.
The lane closures are necessary to perform a water tap and sewer tie in.
Signage and flaggers will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
