WAKE FOREST, NC – Park Construction of NC, a contractor working on the Wake Forest Water Main Replacement & Repair Project, will reduce to one lane with intermittent two-way traffic a portion of South Main Street/US 1A in the vicinity of the Liberty Street/Forestville Road intersection Sunday-Friday, Sept. 20-25, from 7 p.m.-5 a.m. each evening. The temporary closure is necessary to allow crews to tie in a water main along the 1200 block of South Main Street.

Flaggers and signage will be in place to safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area if possible and take an alternate route.
