WAKE FOREST, NC – During the week of September 21, work to relocate utilities in advance of the NCDOT’s Rogers Road Grade Separation Project will require overnight lane closures along Rogers Road.
From 9 p.m.-6 a.m. Monday-Friday, Sept. 21-25, Enbridge crews will reduce one or more lanes along Rogers Road in the vicinity of Capital Creek, so crews can install a new gas line. The initiative has been scheduled overnight to reduce the impact on travelers and enhance worker safety.
Cones and signage will be in place to manage traffic flow and safely direct motorists through the work area. Delays are expected, so motorists may wish to avoid the area and take an alternate route.
Construction on the Rogers Road Grade Separation Project is expected to begin in late 2026 or early 2027. For complete information about the initiative and the option to sign up for project updates, visit https://ncdot.publicinput.com/h1768.
