WAKE FOREST, NC – Wake Forest Power has scheduled a temporary power outage on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 4-4:30 a.m. that will affect customers in the vicinity of and along Rogers Road from South Main Street/US 1A to the railroad tracks, including Wake Forest Middle School, 1800 S. Main St., the Pointe at Heritage, 1747 Alexander Springs Lane.
The planned power outage is necessary, so crews can safely transfer electric service from the existing circuit to the newly installed circuit as part of the utility relocation work for the future Rogers Road widening and overpass project.
Wake Forest Power wishes to thank the affected customers in advance for their patience and understanding during the September 17 planned outage.
