WAKE FOREST, NC – Work is underway to install a traffic signal at the intersection of Forestville Road and Coach Lantern Avenue.
Land disturbance activities, including the removal of existing sidewalk, the installation of new sidewalk, curbing, and curb ramps, paving, and the installation of the traffic signal, are scheduled to begin Thursday, Sept. 10, and continue weekdays from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. through late October. Please note: This schedule is subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances.
Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling through the work zone, expect temporary traffic pattern changes, and plan for increased travel times. Drivers should also remain attentive and respectful of construction personnel working in the area.
