WAKE FOREST, NC - The Wake Forest Police Department (WFPD) has charged Anna-Marie Ethridge, 821 Richland Ridge Dr., Wake Forest, with one count of embezzlement of funds by public officers and trustees.
The former treasurer of Wake Forest Elementary PTA, Ethridge, 56, is accused of misappropriating $32,635.42 of PTA funds.
Ethridge (photo attached) turned herself into the Wake County Sheriff’s Office earlier today and was issued a $15,000 unsecured bond.
The matter was reported to the WFPD on November 6, 2025. Wake Forest Police initiated an investigation which led to the charges filed today.
