The community is invited to attend the official dedication of the new historic marker at Olive Branch Baptist Church, 326 E. Juniper Ave., on Saturday, Oct. 4, at 1 p.m. The unveiling ceremony will feature brief remarks by Mayor Vivian Jones, Rev. Larry Wilder, and members of the congregation and historic preservation staff.
There is limited parking at the church, so visitors are encouraged to park in on-street parking spaces available along the west side of North Taylor Street and the north side of Walnut Street.
