Wake Forest Center for Active Aging to host Flag Day Ceremony Saturday

The Wake Forest Center for Active Aging (WFCAA), 235 E. Holding Ave., will host a special Flag Day Ceremony Saturday, June 14, at 9:30 a.m.
Free and open to all community members, the occasion will include a ceremonial flag-raising by the Wake Forest Fire Department Honor Guard, singing of the National Anthem by Steven Pfanenstiel, recital of the Pledge of Allegiance, bagpipe performance, and remarks by WFCAA Director Jennie Griggs on the history and meaning of Flag Day.
